Catriona is a playwright, writing facilitator and a collaborator. Writing plays that are very real and a little bit surreal and at times epic. Catriona’s work has been performed at venues including: the North Wall, Southwark Playhouse, Hampstead Theatre downstairs and the National Theatre Temp Space. Her first commission came from Paines Plough and the Oxford Playhouse Come to where I come from. She has been a member of the Royal Court, National Theatre Studio, HighTide Theatre and the Sheffield Theatres Writers Program. She is the co-founder and writer for Bad Host Theatre. Catriona also worked with In Transit, on their project: They Call Me Nina performed in Lima Peru at Teatro Britannico as well as on a project in Beijjing, China with Shuang Zou. Catriona has also ventured into children’s theatre with her co-writer Louise Gooding and is currently adapting ‘Mirror Me’ into a children’s book. She has worked with Awake Projects and Kiln Theatre (Tricycle) on ‘We Are Here To Stay’.
