Is an actor, workshop facilitator and the co-director of the Au Brana Centre in southern France. Kate studied European Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford, graduating with a first class degree for her research into psychophysical training before completing her Masters with Teatr Piesn Kozla, (Distinction) Directed and performed in The marvellous taming of the Steppenwolf in London and Traces at the Project Arts centre, Dublin. A founding member of OBRA, she was a performer in their debut performance, Transfixed and began leading the research for OBRA’s next production, Gaudete of which she is Director. Kate is currently performing in Maintenant for Ynopsis theatre. Kate teaches workshops across Europe for students and professionals in OBRA’s approach to performance and organises an annual season of workshops and residencies at Au Brana to facilitate exchanges of practice between emerging theatre practitioners.
